Fellow Mustang Northwest Members:

As of January 22, 2022, we have a signed contract from North Seattle College to hold Round Up 2022 at North Seattle College parking lot.  The Round Up Committee continues to plan and prepare for Round Up 2022.  To make this a successful Round Up I encourage you to consider volunteering on Sunday, July 17th in some capacity.  We need volunteers in all areas.  These areas include gate, parking, registration, volunteer support, raffle table, announcing, security, tack shack, set up/tear down.  In the next few months, I will describe what is involved in each of these areas.  Please consider helping your club by volunteering your time for a couple of hours so that you can enable a successful Round Up to take place.  Remember this is our only revenue stream of income to run the club.  If successful, it will help continue the future of Mustangs Northwest for another year.  If you know of a company that would be interested in participating as a sponsor for Round Up, please notify the treasurer or president and we will contact you for more information.

The Judge Committee continues to plan for Spring Into Summer, May 7th, at Remlinger Farms.  Mustang Mamas will be joining us for a visit.  Remember if you just want to bring your Mustang out for a drive to Remlinger Farms you are invited to come in and see what Judged Shows all are about at no cost and you can park your Mustang on the perimeter of the Judged Lot.  Remlinger Farms have done a lot over the last two years.  You will be pleasantly surprised.

At the request of those who attended our Fords on the Farm show last September at Remlinger Farms, we are planning another show in September 2022.  The date is yet to be determined.

The board continues to carry out the necessary duties to continue Mustangs Northwest.  Currently we are working to secure a meeting room at North Seattle College for our general meetings.  I was told by the college that this will take another contract which the college assures me they are working on at this time.  I have asked for a draft contract by February 28th.  I will further pursue contacting Lake Washington Technical College to investigate the possibility of renting a room there for our general meetings.  We are trying to find a room where we can hold our general meetings and have food and drink so that these meetings will be more sociable rather than business.  If you know of such a room at any location, please contact me.

Registration for Spring-into-Summer and the 2022 Mustang Roundup (including Ride and Drive) is now open.  All registrations will be online so refer to our website or Face Book for all information.

Thank you,
Nancy Atkinson
