Greetings Mustangs Northwest members,

First off – Great job Nancy Carman for setting up the wonderful Cruise to Dragers in Burlington last weekend! It was well attended, and was a beautiful day for a cruise in our Mustangs! The venue was very interesting to see, with all the great cars in the showroom, and Jeri Drager pulled out the stops for our club, with refreshments, a band to play music for all the attendees, and the reveal of a beautifully restored 66 Shelby GT 350-H Hertz Special. There is a great video about the cruise on our Facebook page – check it out! If you missed this one, you missed a good time!

Our schedule for May is getting busy for sure!

May 4th – Saturday – Cars and Coffee in Shoreline then the Lance Lambert Garage Tour followed by burgers at Kidd Valley – check out the info on the website www.mustangsnorthwest.com for a map and details. We will have a driver’s meeting prior to leaving the show to let everyone know how to get to Lance’s place.

May 6th – Monday – Roundup Committee meeting at Group 2 Automotive in Woodinville at 7:00 – 14400 NE North Woodinville Way – all members are  welcomed to attend – we need to start getting our volunteer positions filled so now is your chance to step up and help the club. Please enter from the back of the building.

May 10th – Friday – Our May General meeting at 7:00 at the Shoreline Elks Club – 14625 15th Ave NE  – check the calendar on the website for details.

May 11th – Saturday – Spring Into Summer Judged show at Remlinger Farms in Carnation – get those registrations in now before the May 1st deadline. See the website for details and online registration forms. Reminder – this is our only official MCA Judged show this year. There will not be a Judged show at Roundup.

May 11th – Saturday – Memorial service for Bill Johnson – long time MNW member, former President of the Mustang Club of America, a legend in the Mustang community and truly wonderful man who will be missed by all who knew him. The memorial service will be at 1:00 at the Marysville United Methodist Church – 5600 64th St. NE in Marysville.

May 13th – Monday – Mustangs Northwest Board meeting at 7:00 – also at Group 2 Automotive. All members welcomed – please enter from the back of the building.

May 17-19 – The Monroe Swap Meet. Mustangs Northwest has been given the opportunity to earn quite a bit of easy money by helping park Vendors at the Swap Meet. We are asking for volunteers to help with this task. The club could earn $1500- $2000 which would go quite a ways to offset the costs of our upcoming Roundup show in July. There are three shifts per day – check out the shifts and times and sign up using this link:

https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B0849ABA628A02-48751257-monroe#/  Please consider helping out – do a couple of hours then go cruise the swap meet – It is a win-win for us all. Questions? Give me call or an email. I will be sending out more information and parking passes once we get everyone signed up. Don’t delay – sign up today!

Be sure to check out the monthly calendar on the website, and also you can access the expanded Google calendar for club members as this link:  https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=calendar.mnw%40gmail.com&ctz=America%2FLos_Angeles&src=en.usa%23holiday%40group.v.calendar.google.com&ctz=America%2FLos_Angeles
