On July 11th, I attended the Shelby and Mustang show at the XXX in Issaquah put on by Team Shelby PNW. It was so much fun to see all our Mustang friends once again and without masks. The weather was awesome. I do believe a good time was had by all. Five Mustang Northwest members participated, and other MNW members came to see the show.
Our July Board meeting was held in person. It is so much easier to communicate when you are sitting across a table from the other board members.
On July 30th board members will be walking around the North Seattle College campus with the Venue Committee. We are meeting at 10:00 so if you would like to join us, please do. We will be in the South lot just off Corliss Ave N. We want to see if this location will be a viable location for Round Up before we talk with the representative from the college.

It will be held at the Laterus Winery in Snohomish. Their address is 9206 – 200th St SE, Suite b 6, Snohomish, WA 98296. You really want to attend this meeting as the board will be providing pizza for everyone. We need to know how many will be attending so that we will have enough pizza so please look for the yes, no response located at the top of this email and respond, or you can reply to this email with a yes or no. We certainly look forward to seeing all of you! |
Events coming up. On July 31st cruise, on your own, to the Sunrise Village in Puyallup to meet up with other classic car enthusiasts. They meet at 5:00 to dusk. They will be in the East lot behind L A Fitness. The address is 10507 – 156th St. SE, Puyallup, WA. Google Sunrise Village and there is information about the cruise. I hope to see you there. On August 21st cruise over to Group 2 Automotive for an all-Mustang meet. Their address is 14400 NE North Woodinville Way, Woodinville. You will be able to tour their building and see all the beautiful cars they are working on. The time for this Mustang meet is from 10:00 to 2:00. We are still working on the cruise to the Thunderdome in Enumclaw and the American Car Museum in Tacoma. Also, we are working on having a car show in August or September. We are looking to raise funds for seed money to start planning for Round Up 2022. The dates to keep open are August 28, 29 and September 18 and 25. We checked the calendar, and these are dates where there are no car shows yet. Also, check the calendar on the Mustangs Northwest website for other events you may be interested in attending.
Our new member in July is Brad Albrecht. Brad has a 1967 coupe, 1965 fastback and a 2019 GT350.
